Our yoga and wellbeing classes are accessible to people from all ages and walks of life. Our instructors are experienced in many different methodologies of teaching yoga and aim to make each class beneficial for your body and mind. Yoga simply means union, the union of the body and the mind, the breath and movement, happens through presence and mindful attention.

Heated Classes

Towel & water compulsory to heated classes please.
Our heated classes are warmed to a comfortable level using Far Infrared heating. Heated classes are NOT SUITABLE for pregnancy.
There are many benefits to working with this form of heating the room including:
  • Increased flexibility
  • Increased circulation
  • Detoxification, through the skin via sweat
  • Weight loss, increases metabolism
  • Pain relief FAR infrared directly penetrates tissue and muscle and is often used therapeutically for pain relief.

Dynamic Strength (Heated)

Dynamic Strength is a challenging all levels class. This class is active yet adaptable to your own level. Sequencing is simple but still focused on strengthening and centering core movement. Align classes hone breath awareness, balanced strengthening and opening postures and a calm focused environment. Our intention is for you to leave this class feeling a little taller, lighter, calmer & clearer. Heated class are comfortably warmed for that extra glow and warmth to the muscles . Bring a towel & water please.

Dynamic Strength Plus – we have added a light weights component to parts of this class. This will challenge your strength, form and stability that little plus!

Align Vinyasa (Heated)

Align Vinyasa is a fluid flowing and energetic class. Suitable for all levels of active participants with options and modifications offered so you can build your practice at your own pace. Vinyasa means to flow with your breath so come along and tune into the power of your breath and the connection to your body. Focus and calm your mind as you move, reset you mind, body and energy. The feel of this class is calm alive energy. Strength & flexibility worked together in balance. If you are well & active come explore in this class.

Power Vinyasa classes are up a notch in stamina and flow. We do recommend some experience with alignment awareness before attending power classes.

Align Slow Stretch And Release (Heated)

Slow Stretch & Release is the perfect compliment to your other more active pursuits. Athletes & beginners alike enjoy this grounded slow paced stretch class. All kept to the floor and focused on gentle and effective releasing movements – some using the roll release balls to assist you to access muscular release . A nice pace that allows you space to feel, to breathe and to repair your body. Those doing stronger exercise or sports notice less injury and or better prevention when joining this class and everyone leaves feeling calm, stretched and released .

Level: All, very beginner friendly

Focus: Warm, stretch and release of tight muscles, relaxing and releasing

Relax Restore

Book Classes

Slow down, breathe deep in this restorative session of yoga. Treat yourself to a restful practice with longer held supported postures for release and flexibility. Longer relaxation time allowed for in these classes a great balance to the more active sessions we teach.
Ideal for beginners or anyone feeling the need to slow down and breathe. There can be many reasons we need to go gentler , times of physical stress or mental and emotional stress or disruption as well. This classes are more nurturing and be helpful for those experiencing anxiety and tension as well.

Level: Beginners & All

Focus: Gentle movement, feeling supported, breathing & relaxation

Align Centered Awareness

Specifically focusing on core abdominals, back strength and on lengthening and releasing the torso or core of the body. This class is mostly floor work. Perfect for those new to yoga, those wanting more core awareness and / or those with lower back issues. Great class to gain an understanding of superficial versus core muscles and strength. Core work is practised in a slow and focused way with the breath. A good compliment to the other classes. This class because it is mostly on your back is not recommended for pregnancy, though is an ideal post natal practice.

Align Open Yoga

Align Open Yoga is an all levels general yoga class. Suitable for active beginners and regular practitioners alike. Combining breathe awareness , mindful focus and intelligent balanced postural sequences for your wellbeing of body mind and soul- incorporates breath, mindfulness, functional strength & flexibility. Each class offers simpler options for those who need according to their range of movement and strength and allows you the space to grow into the practice also space for regulars to explore something new or to extend their practice.

Focus: Well rounded practice moving more with your breath

Yin Yoga enphasises stillness. Gently working the connective tissue of your body to optimise joint health. This class will really help you discover your edge in a new way,to stay calm in the experience and to truly let go.Postures are slow and held for a longer time in supported positions. All levels suitable, this practice can bring balance to your more Yang activities. Not suitable for later stages in pregnancy though due to the long holds.

Align Gentle / Beginners

Gentle beginners class is exactly that. Simple yoga, taken back to basics at a slower pace. More basic alignment and body awareness information is shared in this class and it is the perfect place to be if you are, a beginner, someone preferring a gentler easier class, someone pre or post natal or someone coming back to practice after an injury or illness.
These classes are loved for their nurturing pace and special care. A beautiful way to get started or reconnect to your practice.
