Class Etiquette
Please arrive 10 mins before class to sign in ,studio opens 10 mins before class begins.
It is important to let your instructor know if you are pregnant or have any current injuries.
We share equipment and breathing space so please come clean and free of any strong perfumes.
Bring along a small towel to wipe sweat and a large towel for your mat in the Hot classes
Please refrain from smoking for at least 30 mins before entering studio
Leave bags & phones (on silent ) in the area provided.
Terms and Conditions

Classes at align BODYMINDSOUL are $17. Purchasing a Class Pass or a course is an agreement between yourself and align BODYMINDSOUL that we have offered you classes at a discounted price, and you will use your classes within the expiry date.
Holds must be arranged before you intend to be away from class, or as soon as you are ill if illness or injury will keep you from class
Class passes are not refundable, nor are they transferable to another person.

CLASS INFO

      All align BODYMINDSOUL classes begin with breath focus & centering & end with  relaxation or meditation. They incorporate  movement, breath and focus to deepen the flow to create vital energy and relaxed being. Sequences are intelligent in the way they enhance a balance between strength and flexibility in the body. Classes all work with the fundamentals of Vinyasa ,Ujjayi breathing and drishti (focus) and are fluid in nature. We use a Core focus in all classes to help students find and move from centre. When we move from Core we feel more grace ease and lightness in each asana and in how we move and act in our daily activities The result is balanced inner & outer strength & well being to live your most inspired life !

BEGINNERS COURSE
5 week course $65
(intro to yoga & yogic breathing  beginners)
Ideal for - those new to yoga, those who like to go slower and have more explained, those who want to begin to rehabilitate posture.
This  class is your first step into yoga. Foundations in alignment principles, basic breathing techniques and relaxation are taught clearly. Designed for the absolute beginner & a good choice for pregnancy, those recovering from injury and those wanting a slow practice.

CORE YOGA
Bookings required for 5.30 pm timeslot Monday,if a block has started please email to check for a space.
BEG/GEN & GEN  (Pregnant students welcome please come and let instructor know BEFORE beginning class )
.  A Core focus in these sessions will provide you with a grounded awareness in your body and create greater stability in all asanas and in how you move and play in your day. Standing postures and floor prep work included.
Great for all levels. Sequences build strength & flexibility & release  tension and holding from the body. Foundations of postural alignment  , conscious breathing, simple meditation & relaxation  are included so this a well rounded class.  A great prep for CORE POWER also.
Beginners and General classes are open to everyone, but please be aware that if you are new to Yoga then it is suggested that you begin with the beginners course, to introduce  yourself  without difficulty. If those times don’t suit just come along to Beg/Gen anyway and we will assist you as best as we can, have patience and give yourself a month or so of consistency in your practice to build mind/body awareness.

CORE HOT (FIR heated)
FIR heated class, having all the benefits of our Core Yoga session with the added therapeutic benefits of Far Infrared heat. This makes it also great for athletes or those who are a little stiff as the heat definately assists in releasing the body. This class is Barkan Method influenced a style of Hatha Yoga from a lineage in Calcutta. It includes a sequence of asanas practiced in heat to enhance the deeper release of the muscles as well as increased blood flow, circulation and rejuvenation.

  CORE AWARENES
       BEG recommended  & all levels
Specifically focusing on core abdominals, back strength and on lengthening and releasing the torso or core of the body, this class is mostly floor work. Perfect for those new to yoga, those wanting more core awareness and or those with lower back issues. Great class to gain an understanding of superfiscial versus core muscles and strength. Core work is practised in a slow and focused way with the breath. A good compliment to the other classes. This class because it is mostly on your back is not recommended for pregnancy, tho is an ideal post natal practice.

CORE POWER  (FIR heated )
some level of fitness and strength required and some previous practise and understanding of alignment advisable
(GEN) General level
A more dynamic class with flow and movement to incorporate strength, flexibility and stamina.  Taught in levels and stages so that students can play at their "edge" and develop their practice on all levels. You will use the Core strength and knowledge you have learnt in the Core Yoga classes now in fluid movement. CorePower Yoga is a truly unique  practice based on intuition rather than tradition. A  heated, climate controlled Vinyasa flow practice, Core Power Yoga heals, detoxifies and exhilarates the body and mind with emphasis on movement, balance and intention.   Through intense flow and Ujjai breathing techniques,  students get to the "Core" of their being.
A fun and challenging practice to clear your mind and revitalize your body, come along and take the next step in your journey !
